Bullying Prevention Month
Bullying is: unwanted behavior that is repeated or is likely to be repeated again, intentional, and an imbalance of power occurs.
What if I'm being bullied?
Be a self-advocate: write down what is happening to you and tell a trusted adult right away.
What if I'm bullying someone else?
We are all different for a reason; learn from others instead of bullying them. Talk to a trusted adult to get help to end your hurtful behavior.
What if I witness bullying?
Always support the target or person being bullied. Give them a compliment. Stand up by telling the person bullying, that is NOT OK! Tell a trusted adult to get additional help.
Other Important Awarenesses this Month Include:
LGBT History Month
Nation Depression and Mental Health Screening Month
